Peyote
Bezelled Cabochon Saturday, August 9, 2008 - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  In this class, taught by Anne Jackson, you will learn to create a peyote-stitch bezel around a Swarovski Crystal Rivoli. A "Rivoli" is a round crystal with a shallow point on the backside. This beautiful 'bezelled' Rivoli will then become what Anne calls a "Starburst" necklace. While the attached photo shows the necklace in black and gold, students in Anne's class will have a choice of various colors to make their necklace. The class fee is $25 and the kit fee is $15. The kit will include a 16mm or 18mm Rivoli, along with Swarovski crystal bicones, Delica seed beads, Myuki seed beads, and Czech glass Charlotte beads. YES - this is a class with small beads. Refreshments will be available during the class so come, have some coffee and learn how to make this beautiful necklace. Keep the sparkle going all summer long! |
